Phaedrus

During 1987 a guy called Briggs was putting out a newsletter called 
the "A Letter". During the early part of 1987 he advised all his 
clients to sell all their stocks. This caused a large sell-off, which 
the brokers didn't like one bit.
He used TA I am told. Was there any indication on the chart for 
1987 to indicate and justify his advice?
