9th June 2021 Morning Report

US stocks closed little changed as institutional investors remained in a holding pattern as there not much to motivate significant market movements.  All three major U.S. stock indexes ended the range-bound session near flat or higher. The CBOE volatility index reached its lowest level in over a year. The markets await Thursday CPI data for further guidance on inflation.
