SkyCity Entertainment Group Limited (SKC.NZX/SKC.AX) (SkyCity) advises that it expects to reopen its casino and entertainment facilities in Hamilton from 17 November 2021. This follows the announcement by the New Zealand Government earlier today that the COVID-19 Alert Level for the Waikato region will move to Alert Level 2 from 11.59pm on 16 November 2021.
SkyCity will reopen its Hamilton property in a staged manner and with additional health and safety measures in place to reflect the Ministry of Health’s latest recommendations and guidelines for operating at Alert Level 2. Up to date opening times are available on the SkyCity website at www.skycity.co.nz.
The SkyCity Auckland property continues to remain closed whilst the Auckland region remains at COVID-19 Alert Level 3. The SkyCity Queenstown property remains open whilst the Queenstown region remains at COVID-19 Alert Level 2.
SkyCity’s businesses outside of New Zealand, SkyCity Adelaide and SkyCity Online Casino, are unaffected by the latest restrictions in New Zealand. SkyCity Adelaide remains open with physical distancing and hygiene requirements already in place.
SkyCity will provide further updates as new material information becomes available.
