Monday 11th May 2026

Text too small?

Synlait Milk Limited (Synlait) advises that Independent Director Paul McGilvary has provided notice of his resignation from the Board.

Paul has served as a Director of Synlait since 2022 and has made a substantial contribution to the company during a particularly challenging and important period in its history. During his tenure, Paul held several key leadership roles, including Chair of the People, Environment and Governance Committee, Acting Chair of the Board and Chair of the Dairyworks advisory Board. His experience, judgement and steady leadership have been highly valued by the Board and management.

The Board expresses its sincere gratitude to Paul for his dedication, leadership and service to Synlait, and wishes him the best for his retirement.

Under Synlait’s Constitution and the NZX Listing Rules, the company is required to have two Independent Directors. Synlait’s Nominations Sub‑Committee commenced a search for a new Independent Director earlier this year and will provide a further update prior to Paul’s resignation becoming effective.

Paul’s resignation is effective from Monday, 18 May 2026.
