New Zealand King Salmon Investments Limited (NZX and ASX: NZK) advises that it has accepted the resignation of Ernst & Young as external auditor of the group with effect from 2 July 2024. PricewaterhouseCoopers will be appointed as the group's new external auditor from today.
The decision to change external auditor does not reflect adversely on Ernst & Young. Rather, the Board determined that after a long period as New Zealand King Salmon's external auditor, it is good governance practice to change the auditor as signaled in the recent Notice of Annual Meeting of shareholders.
PricewaterhouseCoopers appointment follows a thorough competitive tender process that was overseen by New Zealand King Salmon's Audit, Finance and Risk Committee.
New Zealand King Salmon would like to thank Ernst & Young for their professionalism and service over the last 15 years.
