Banks are slammed by Democratic lawmakers for charging too much overdraft fees during the pandemic though the total figure of overdraft revenue fell in 2020 for the first time in six years.
JPmorgan claimed that they have waived approximately $400 million in overdraft fees. But the senate Elizabeth Warren criticised them for gathering nearly $1.46 billion in such fees in 2020.
