Jade Software has appointed Charlotte Walshe as its new chief executive, replacing Jason Court, who held the position on an interim basis after the company split into Jade Software and Jade Logistics in June.
“We are delighted to welcome Charlotte Walshe as Jade CEO, at this formative time in the company’s journey. As well as coming from a technology background with a strong customer focus, she brings extensive experience in strategic leadership, building high performing teams, and innovating for growth," said Jade chair Sue Suckling. David Lindsay heads up Jade Logistics, which provides software for mixed cargo ports and carriers.
For the past 10 years, Walshe has served as chief executive for Dynamic Controls, a manufacturer of innovative electronic operating solutions for medical equipment such as wheelchairs. She has held a number of governance roles with companies and organisations in the broader software and technology sectors, including directorships with New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, the Dodd-Walls Centre for Photonic and Quantum Technologies, and Enable Services.
She is "well-positioned to drive the execution of Jade’s strategy of ongoing digital innovation and services development to deliver customisation and value-add for both existing and prospective customers, which will drive the long-term sustainability and growth of Jade," said Suckling. She will take over as chief executive from mid-December.
Jade Software was split in a shake-up of ownership that left UK non-bank lender Skipton Building Society holding the digital arm - Jade Software - and USA Health Investors with Jade Logistics.
