Steel & Tube Holdings Limited (NZX: STU ) wishes to advise that independent director, Steve Reindler, has elected not to stand for re-election at the conclusion of his current three-year term, at the company’s annual meeting, expected to be held in November 2026.
Steve joined the board on 28 August 2017 and has been a valued director throughout his nine-year tenure. The company has valued his extensive industry and commercial knowledge and insights, which have supported its ability to navigate challenging market cycles.
Steve commented: “My time on the board will be over nine years in November and I feel it appropriate and good for Steel & Tube to allow for new thinking and refreshment of the board composition. The steel sector has been a big part of my working life and I really wish the team well in the years ahead.”
The board and management extend their sincere thanks to Steve for his significant contribution to the company’s governance over many years, particularly his oversight of the People & Culture committee.
The Board will undertake an extensive search for a replacement director(s), having regard to the appropriate board size, collective capability and the skills and attributes required to complement the existing board.
