New Zealand King Salmon chief executive Paul Steere has stood down after 15 years strong stewardship to pursue other business interests.

Grant Rosewarne is to replace him having formerly had a successful career with Sara Lee Corporation as the chairman of the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Rosewarne has also had significant international experience in Britain, Europe and Australasia in the consumer goods sector.

He says he is looking forward to the opportunity of joining a market leading New Zealand business with outstanding international opportunities for its differentiated and value added salmon products.

New Zealand King Salmon chairman Tom Sturgess says Rosewarne will be welcomed in the second half of November.

"The board looks to Rosewarne's leadership and skills to continue the excellent growth record achieved by the King Salmon team," he says.
