In response to a growing demand from female traders, CMC Markets and Sharechat.co.nz are hosting the first ever Female Traders Networking Event on Thursday 18th October 2007.

The breakfast event will enable attendees to network, share experiences and discuss investment strategies with fellow traders.

CMC Markets' Leah Howitt said while the markets are still dominated by male investors, the number of female traders is on the increase.

"Over the past months we have recognised a growing demand by female traders for the opportunity to meet and seek support from other traders in an environment that isn't daunting," said Howitt. "Through events such as this we hope to encourage more females to trade the markets with confidence."

All female traders are welcome regardless of whether they trade CFDs (Contracts for Difference), Shares, Options, Warrants etc.
