Fletcher Building has lured Matt Crockett away from Spark New Zealand to run its heavy building products division, one of two executive roles created when the company restructured its building and infrastructure products units in October.
Crockett is currently chief turnaround officer at Spark, having returned to that company in late 2013 after a spell as chief development officer at APN News and Media. Fletcher's heavy building products and light building products units were created from the restructuring of the company's building and infrastructure products divisions.
Fletcher appointed Francisco Irazusta, formerly head of CRH Plc's European building products business, to run light building products as part of clutch of new appointments.
