Datacraft acquisition doubles size in NZ

Datacraft NZ, the multi-national which integrates online business services, has more than doubled its local presence after buying IT company Integral Technology Group for an undisclosed sum today.

Integral bought Axon Computer Systems for $18 million earlier this year, and has gross assets worth $38 million.

That's more than twice as much as Datacraft's $27.9 million worth of assets, as at September last year, according to financial statements lodged with the Companies Office.

Managing director Robin Hartendorp said the deal will build on Integral Axon's strong presence in Auckland commercial markets with little overlap in Datacraft's government relationships in Wellington.

Datacraft is a subsidiary of Dimension Data Holdings, a US$4 billion global ICT organisation which operates in 49 countries across five continents, and is listed on the London and Johannesburg Stock Exchanges.
