Chris Moller named NZ Transport Agency chair

Wednesday 24th March 2010

Text too small?

Chris Moller, former boss of the New Zealand Rugby Union, has been tapped as chairman of the NZ Transport Agency, the government body responsible for planning, enforcement, regulation and revenue collection for land transport.

Moller, whose CV includes being deputy chief executive at Fonterra Cooperative Group, replaces Brian Roche at the transport agency. Roche, a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and government fix-it man, has taken up the role of CEO at New Zealand Post.

Moller’s three-year term at the NZTA starts on April 1.
