[sharechat] Briscoes $2.20+

Suppose the certain excitement about the Briscoes float mirrors that that
was shown when Frucor came on the scene.

For those who can't remember here is how Frucor progressed by week - 155
week 1 to 154 end of week 2 and then 163, 173, 196, 213 and 235 at the end
of week 7. Frucor stayed in the 220-240 range for several weeks after that.

Briscoes has started off with a bit more momeentum, was 142 on the first
Friday post float moving to 165 in week 2. Om Monday it went over 170.

If Briscoes follows the Frucor trend it will get over 220, maybe more by the
end of January/early February. Like Frucor expect some judiciously timed
announcements from Briscoes about how well sales are going etc leading up to
full year profit announcement due sometime after Jan 31st.

If, and it only seems when, they hit 220 that will mean Rod Duke's share of
Briscoes is worth $250M. Wonder what Gaynor from The Herald will say after
that.

Have you read Gaynor's article yet? Quite a fascinating view of IPOs but I
couldn't quite understand what he was getting at.
