February 13th Morning Report

Us market closed lower on Friday as megacap growth stocks came under pressure and shares of ride-hailing firm Lyft plunged following a downbeat profit forecast. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.50%. The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite was up 0.22% and down 0.61% respectively.

In Europe key markets ended lower. The FTSE100 was down 0.36% , while the DAX30 was down 1.39% and the CAC40 was down 0.82%, the STOXX600 was up 1.23%. 

 Asian markets ended mixed. The Shanghai Composite (-0.30%) and the Hong Kong Hang Seng (-2.01%) were down, while Nikkei 225 (+0.31%) were up.
