There has been a further senior management reshuffle at Australia & New Zealand Banking Group's local division.

ANZ's New Zealand institutional managing director David Green has been promoted to chief executive of ANZ Singapore and head of South East Asia and India, based in Singapore.

“David has ensured that our institutional business has the largest market share in that segment of the market and consistently tops the Peter Lee Associates customer satisfaction surveys," said ANZ's New Zealand chief executive David Hisco, who was promoted last month, becoming a group executive with new responsibilities for ANZ’s operations in the Pacific and international retail on top of being the local CEO.

Graham Turley, the bank's commercial & agri managing director for New Zealand, will become the managing director of institutional banking for the Australia division based in Sydney. Paul Goodwin, the current head of institutional relationships, will take over the role of institutional managing director, subject to no objections from the Reserve Bank.

Goodwin joined ANZ in 2004 having previously held senior corporate finance roles at Credit Suisse and the National Bank of New Zealand. He has also worked for Ernst & Young in New Zealand and the UK, and is a member of the executive board of the Institute of Finance Professionals.

Mark Hiddleston, who has been general manager of commercial & agri in Auckland and Northland since 2009, will become the managing director for commercial & agri.

Hiddleston has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector, having started at the National Bank in corporate trade finance and corporate and business banking. After working in international banking in the UK he joined ANZ in 2005 as head of leveraged finance and syndications and then head of specialised lending. He has been a director of asset finance company, UDC Finance since 2012.

Liz Maguire, the bank's head of digital and transformation, has been promoted to Hisco's New Zealand leadership team, and will continue with her current role and assist Hisco in managing retail banking in Asia and the Pacific.

Maguire joined ANZ in 2000 and has had a number of roles in Australia and New Zealand, including being head of personal lending and GM of direct channels. She has worked for American Express and Lloyds TSB, both in London, and Westpac in New Zealand.

Dual-listed ANZ's stock rose 3.2 percent to $24.47 on the NZX, and has fallen 20.1 percent since the start of the year.
