Goodman (NZ), the manager of Goodman Property Trust, has lured back former executive Murray Barclay from Europe to take on a senior role.

Barclay will return to New Zealand after three years heading up logistics in Southern Europe. Before that posting, he previously oversaw Goodman’s New Zealand development business.

“Murray’s international insight will be most valuable to the business, and his expertise will further strengthen our existing operation and potential for the business development,” said chief executive John Dakin.

The appointment comes as Goodman fund manager Scott Pritchard resigned after six years with the company.

Shares in Goodman Property Trust slipped 1.1% to 93 cents on Friday.
