MCK advises that Ken Orr has been appointed as Vice President Operations and will commence his role from 1 April 2021.
Mr. Orr is currently the General Manager of Grand Millennium Auckland, the largest hotel in New Zealand, and has worked for MCK in various managerial and operational roles over the last twenty four years in Queenstown, Christchurch and Wellington.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Mr. Orr holds an Honours degree in economics from Stirling University and has previously worked as an accountant in the United Kingdom.
MCK Managing Director Mr. BK Chiu welcomed the appointment of a proven hotel professional to his new role.
“Ken has an established reputation as a customer and sales focused manager who understands all of the critical linkages within MCK and within our industry. I am delighted that we have been able to appoint from within our ranks and look forward to having him at our Corporate Office in the near future”.
