MCY - Board member accepts full time executive role in Australia

Mercury has acknowledged the announcement that Dennis Barnes, director, has been appointed as the next Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Snowy Hydro Limited, a Commonwealth Company and Government Business Enterprise in Australia.

Mr Barnes is expected to take up the role on 1 February 2023. Consequently, Mr Barnes will step down from the Mercury Board at a time to be determined.
