Lazy Haggis,
            I was loath to draw any conclusions. I was simply pointing out that 
your claim that PNA had "a share price increasing on increasing volume" was, 
well, unsupported by the facts, shall we say.

 Your questions are simply red herrings, designed to draw discussion away from 
your false claims.

 The chart covers a 6 month period because :-
(1) It captures a trend in its entirety.
(2) It includes the latest significant pivot point (the December high)
(3) A shorter period would make PNA appear trendless (falsely)
(4) A longer period would compress the volume histogram bars together, making 
it hard to discern their individual colour. 

 Bars of the volume histogram are colour coded - red for down days, green for 
up days, blue if no price change. "A share price increasing on increasing 
volume" shows a predominance of green bars (a rising price) of increasing 
length (increasing volume) Anyone can see that neither of these conditions are 
met - let alone both of them!
