Hmmm, possibly a bit superficial....
Didn't Tindall begin in Australia by taking over 2 struggling bottom 
end Australian chains (Sollys Crazy Bargains, forget the other) 
where the individual stores were much smaller than NZ Warehouse 
ones, badly located and not run on Warehouse lines and with 
untrained staff and none of the usual Warehouse infrastructure 
stock purchase etc?
In other words he started with a non Warehouse operation and 
until he gets there it won't flourish.
Like the Warehouse trying to operate in Auckland just out of 
old neighbourhood second hand shops with new untrained staff 
with inherited and badly chosen stock.
I think Tindall will ultimately (next year?) show that he has rebuilt 
Warehouse Australia into a success.
