Sorry, I made a mistake, the New York Stockmarket plunged on 19 
Oct which was the largest one day drop in 73 years.

During a conversation the other day the other party said that in 
Australia broker stop/losses only apply during market hours.This 
implies that if off market deals affect the price one may not be 
covered to the extent one thought.Would you pehaps know if this is 
so?
