Reason 1: Except for a few large stocks, small trades can affect the price

Reason 2: The range of available stocks is pathetically small eg UK = 2000 stocks.

Reason 3: There is no protection for small investors from the cowboys

Reason 4: Information on overseas shares is readily available, current and relevant and consolidated by information package suppliers.

Reason 5: Real time trading information is mostly free overseas and trading is easier than locally (Asbsecurities included)
