[sharechat] Stirring up the AQL air

From: Mark Hutton <mrkhutton@netscape.net>
Date: 28 Feb 00 22:53:01 PST

Well Osbert, I am not concerned about "stirring up the air about AQL" as you
put it. Someone mentioned about the sell and buy of 5 million AQL shares
yesterday for 14.5c. I understand that these were shares belonging to
Chinese-based staff who will be resigning upon completion of the Bliss
contract. It appears that the shares were sold in anticipation of shareholders
ratifying the "Release of Vendor shares" agreement next week (itemised in the
document recently received by AQL shareholders). It is unclear who bought the
shares but someone is sitting on a tidy paper profit at the moment (if they
haven't cashed up already). But it's good to see the wheels turning a bit more
quickly now in divesting AQL of its assets (and staff) so the 'shell' can be
used for a new venture.

Mark
