Manawa Energy Limited (Manawa Energy) today is pleased to announce that $50,000,000 has been allocated under its oversubscribed Exchange Offer for five year, unsecured, unsubordinated, fixed rate bonds (Bonds). The Exchange Offer received strong support with $72,715,000 of applications received.

As the Exchange Offer was oversubscribed, some applications have been scaled in accordance with the Final Terms Sheet, including to ensure that minimum holder requirements are satisfied. Those bondholders whose application was scaled will retain their MNW150 bonds for the scaled portion.

The Bonds are expected to be issued on Thursday, 8 September 2022 and will mature on 8 September 2027. Exchange Offer participants will be able to view their allocations on the Computershare investor website (www.investorcentre.com/nz) from the issue date. Holding statements will be sent to Exchange Offer participants on Monday, 12 September 2022.

On Thursday, 15 September 2022, MNW150 bondholders who exchange their bonds will receive a payment for the interest on those bonds from the last interest payment date on 15 June 2022 to (but excluding) the issue date of the new Bonds (after deduction of any applicable taxes).

The Bonds are expected to be quoted on the NZX Debt Market on Friday, 9 September 2022 under ticker code MNW190.
