George Gould steps down from BSH board

Building Society Holdings (BSH) and its operating business Combined Building Society has announced that George Gould has resigned as a director.

Gould has stepped down to focus on his new role as group managing director of PGG Wrightson.

BSH chairman Bruce Irvine said, "On behalf of the board, we thank Mr Gould for his contribution to the strategic direction of BSH and wish him all the best."

There is no intention at this time to appointment a replacement director.

Was he pushed & why? Surely the demands of running Wrightson's can't be such he has no time left to see a project through? Who will benefit - G Kerr?
