The listed firms are all finalists in the Company of the Year category. Sky City was also in the final three last year.
Finalists for all sections were announced Tuesday with the winners due to be divulged at an awards dinner later this month.
Vying for the Best Corporate Strategy Award are Fisher & Paykel (NZSE: FAP), Frucor Beverages (NZSE: FRU) and the Port of Tauranga (NZSE: POT) while finalists in the Executive of the Year are Richmond (NZSE: RHD) CEO John Loughlin, Baycorp (NZSE: BCH) boss Keith McLaughlin and recently appointed Fonterra chief, Craig Norgate.
Chairperson of the Year is a two-way race between Bill Faulkner and Sir Colin Maiden while Genesis Corporation, Navman NZ and Pulse Data have been chosen to contest Emerging Enterprise Award.
Finalists for the awards categories are evaluated to set criteria and selected from the top 200 New Zealand-based public listed companies.
