Sky Network Television reached an agreement with Vodafone to supply its content into a new service on the phone company's mobile network.

Vodafone will bundle Sky content, mobile and fixed line voice and internet services, Sky said in a statement.
The five-year accord expands on the existing content arrangements with Vodafone, SKY Mobile TV.

"The extension of the relationship with Vodafone to become our pay television telecommunications partner will greatly benefit consumers with the associated discounted pricing arrangements that bundling will deliver," John Fellet, Sky chief executive, said in a statement.

Vodafone competes with Telecom in the mobile market. Sky's stock was unchanged at $3.30 and has dropped 45% this year. Telecom fell 0.8% to $2.41 and has slipped 45% so far in 2008.
