Auckland Airport today announced Anna Cassels-Brown, General Manager Operations, will be stepping away from her role after seven years with the organisation.
Ms Cassels-Brown joined Auckland Airport in 2015 as General Manager People & Safety before taking on board leadership responsibility in 2018 for the operation of the airport, overseeing the safety, integrity and utilisation of key airport assets including the runway, aircraft stands, and the terminal buildings.
Auckland Airport Chief Executive Carrie Hurihanganui said: “Anna has made an outstanding contribution during her time at Auckland Airport, particularly as we confronted the extraordinary challenges brought about by Covid. She played a key role in our crisis response, helping to support our employees through constant upheaval and maintaining the safe operation of the airport throughout every stage of the pandemic.
“With aviation on the road to recovery, Anna has decided that now is the right time for her to focus on her future ambitions. Anna will be greatly missed by the airport team and we wish her all the very best.”
Ms Cassels-Brown will remain in her role until January 2023, with Auckland Airport to soon begin the process of appointing her replacement.
