Gross revenue for the screen industry in this country grew 2% from a year earlier to $2.87 billion in the 2009/10 year, Statistics New Zealand says.
Post-production revenue rose 21 percent to $584 million, while production revenue dropped 9% to $783 million, the second fall in two years.
Distribution was up 14% to $186 million, television broadcasting was up 2% to $1.17 billion, and film exhibition was flat at $153 million.
