Linda Trainer has stepped down from her position as General Manager Asset Management to relocate to the South Island. Linda has been with Kiwi Property since April 2018, and during that time has made a significant contribution to the evolution of Kiwi Property’s portfolio, including the development of Resido and the continued success of the Sylvia Park shopping centre. Over this time, Linda has also championed improved customer outcomes and embedded a sustainability ethos across Kiwi Property.

Kiwi Property is pleased to announce the appointment of Helen Ronald as General Manager Asset Management upon Linda’s resignation. Helen is currently Kiwi Property’s National Retail Assets Manager and led the Sylvia Park management team for five years prior to that. She brings extensive experience in shopping centre and asset management across both sides of the Tasman and is well placed to continue to lead the strategic and operational performance of assets across Kiwi Property’s portfolio.

Clive Mackenzie, Kiwi Property’s CEO, commented “I would like to thank Linda for her valuable contribution to Kiwi Property over eight years. She has been instrumental in leading our asset management team and in positioning Sylvia Park as one of New Zealand’s leading shopping centres. She has earned great respect from the team at Kiwi Property and we wish her all the best for the future.

“We are very pleased to appoint Helen to this role. She is a highly capable and experienced leader, with a strong track record and well-established relationships within the business and broader industry. This appointment reflects our ongoing commitment to developing and promoting our people, and provides for a smooth and orderly transition.”

Linda’s resignation will take effect on Friday 14 August 2026, with Helen assuming the role of General Manager Asset Management from Monday 17 August.
