The Board of Directors wishes to advise that the role of Chief Operating Officer, previously held by Chris Steedman, has been disestablished.
This change recognises that each of our four business regions has its own set of local conditions. Further, while there will continue to be a need for an element of Group strategy and services, the future growth and development of each region is best served by the Regional Director and his or her team on the ground locally.
We also acknowledge that for now, and through until at least later in the year, we will be operating in a highly restricted travel environment, thereby reducing the ability of the central COO role to travel.
The Board would like to thank Chris for his contribution during his time at Scott.
