Synlait Milk Limited (Synlait) has confirmed its opening forecast base milk price for the 2025/2026 season at $10.00 per kgMS.

This forecast is based on a continued optimistic outlook for prices and reflects Synlait’s commitment to (at a minimum) match the industry’s advance rates and milk price.

Forecasts are based on the best information to date. It is important to note that the ongoing geopolitical uncertainty could result in a range of outcomes for next season.

Synlait’s final milk price for the 2024/25 season will be confirmed on 29 September 2025 when the company releases its full year result.

The 2024/25 forecast base milk price remains at $10.00 per kgMS reflecting a 25% increase on Synlait’s opening forecast price for the season of $8.00 per kgMS.

Synlait enables farmers to earn more for their milk, paying farmers several incentives on top of the base milk price.

Synlait will continue to monitor movements and update farmer suppliers as required.
