Daryl,
QQQ is the ETF (Exchange Traded Fund) that tracks the Nasdaq100 Index.
It can be traded exactly like a stock, but is not subject to the "downtick
rule" when shorting. Because it is so heavily traded, spreads are very narrow
and "market" orders are quite safe.
