What you say is absolutely correct.  I am not suggesting that 
everyone pick their Australian favourite and pile all their money 
into that (even hypothetically).  Let me make that quite clear!  The 
idea here is not to work as individual gurus, but as a group.  to put 
forward a basket of shares that everyone has selected together is the 
aim.  

Not to play one person off against the other!  I'm limiting it to one 
so that participants can do a decent amount of homework on their 
nomination!   I'm trying to complie some collective group wisdom 
here!

would say even your four shares is too few!   But that isn't really 
the point.

I can guarantee that from the individual suggestions there will be 
losers.  This does not mean the people who selected those losers are 
fools.  I myself have publically selected several 'losers' over the 
last couple of years.  The point is to try and make sure your 
total investment portfolio winners can account for any losses.

As some wise investor once told us....  Hang on, I think it was you!
