Every so called advisor seems to have a different answers to this question:

What are the tax and transaction implications for New Zealand holders of 
Australian domiciled Mutual Funds. For
  a) Dividends
b)When quitting  the funds, what is the best -  for the manager to 
repurchase or redeem?
