 At a certain price, a massive amount of 
gold owned by households will be melted down till an equilibrium is 
restored. 
I was there when that happened @$US500 an ounce, I 
believe in 1980? (Hunts-silver grab). 
Obviously, we are nowhere near that point but 
economics always needs to be borne in mind, I think.
