As a mere moral I wld have thought that the "irrational reaction" of any
group to statements, from a country's leader, be they AirNZ shareholders
or the US Senate shld be of concern to us. The consequences can be far
reaching. Lack of proper governance is a real issue here (at both Board
and government level) and we must demand better particularly of our
elected leaders.
Spin doctors come and go (eddy at times) but the consequences stay with
us.
