Re: [sharechat] NZ Refining

Bit premature I would have thought. There's nothing like the oil companies
for toughing it out and not all users are running into trouble. I don't
think oil
filters cost that much. I guess they're now in a position to replace the
fuel
for all those who have it although they seem to be confident enough not
to be offering it.
I was cynically amused when it became the centre of TVNZ's news last
night and the subject of 'special reports'...I was wondering where the body
counter at the top of the screen had got to and the dramatic pictures of
crying relatives (maybe that's us - the shareholders) and twisted corpses.
Still, its a welcome replacement for the continual stream of battered
babies, illiterate de facto murderers, druggies and the like that persuade
me to switch to teletext (the same treatment I give to adverts). I guess
the rat poison at Kaikoura turned out to be a dud.

I wonder if they have any comeback against the German origin of the
cold start additive? Not like the Germans to make a technological stuff-up.
I'll be watching to see if NZR gets cheap enough to buy some more.
I always enjoy a good panic when I don't personally have to sell...the
sharebrokers falling from the upper stories.....the unexpected bankruptcies
of well known private school products....

cheers,
Hugh
