Tony....I think you forget that most people who
have or hope to make a buck out of Tranzrail don't give a stuff about the
coastline damage..greed is all-corrupting mate. Sorry. G (discl..never
have or never will hold Tranzrail...I was a taxpayer who got shafted by the
original sale and I care about the coastline erosion too)
For the benefit of those of us with
good brokers instead of half decent ones David, perhaps you could would
explain...?
I am not an accountant, economist, or
even an investor, and my perception of Tranzrail remains that of a
relic..
West Coast coal operation held together
with #8 and 4 inch nails, coastal shipping of one sort or another in &
out of Nelson like blowflies, trucks getting bigger & more numerous,
roads getting straighter & wider,
disgruntled Cook Strait passengers by
the cubic mile, & last but by no means least, shocking disregard
for the Sounds coastline with the wash
from their big fizz boat.
