Do some research on the international mail market and you can see that 
there is a lot of growth in the NZ market. Direct marketing mail is 
virtually non-existent here, but in key markets it makes up 50% or more of 
mail, ie 300-400 mail items per person per year. For NML it only needs a 
fraction of the market to reach its prospectus.

Plus NML has already explained its e-commerce strategy to a tech conference

As for mail being dead, I remember the prediction of the paperless office, 
the exhaustion of oil by the mid-80s, food, cars, etc etc you name it.
