Even though the ruling has negative implications for Microsoft, Microsoft's stock has been going nowhere over the past couple of weeks, while the Nasdaq has rallied strongly.

This perhaps implies that the market has already factored for a ruling against Microsoft.

Microsoft also has until early next year to negotiate with the Justice Department - I think an out of court settlement is a likely scenario.
