Vista Group International, the cinema software and analytics firm, has rejigged its executive structure, appointing Kimbal Riley to head up its Vista Entertainment Solutions business.
The Auckland based company confirmed the appointment of founder Murray Holdaway as group chief executive, responsible for all group businesses, and named Riley as chief executive of Vista Entertainment, it said in a statement. Riley was previously chief operating officer of Vista's largest unit, having joined the company in November 2013.
The executive changes follow on from Vista's appointment of Rodney Hyde as chief financial officer in April, which freed up Brian Cadzow to focus on acquisitions and new developments as director of commercial and legal.
Last week, Vista made its first foray into Japan, signing a software distribution agreement with Vinx Corp.
The firm's technology is used to manage cinema operations in more than 60 countries and it raised $92 million in an initial public offering a year ago. Its shares last traded at $6, and has jumped from its $2.35 offer price last year.
