Text too small?
Lyttelton Port Company (NZSE: LPC) says unions at the port have withdrawn a notice of intention to strike just a day after it was issued.

The notice was made Tuesday and related to a dispute over staffing levels on tugs. It had been slated for the weekend of December 15 and 16.

However the company says all issues have now been resolved in entirety and it is "business as usual" at the port.

Details of the dispute and the resolution have not been made public.
