SunSeeker Energy (Australasia), which has rights to solar power technology in Australia and New Zealand, has been given until Friday to file its overdue annual report, NZX Regulation said.

The company also received a warning for its interim report, which it subsequently filed. The shares haven't traded on the NZAX since Nov. 13 last year, when they were at NZ$1.02, giving the company a market value of NZ$18.7 million.

SunSeeker Energy was incorporated in February 2007 to commercialise the SunSeeker technology throughout Australasia.

According to company filings, SunSeeker abandoned plans to raise capital last December after an offer from SunSeeker Energy (UK) by way of an option agreement. The UK business, which is part-owned by the Australasian company, wasn't able to finance the deal by the due date in May. Talks to acquire the Australian assets of Berbec Pty foundered during the year.
