New CEO for New Image

New Image Group Limited has announced the appointment of Stephen Lyttelton to chief executive.

Lyttelton is an internationally experienced businessman with a career spanning over 30 years and a proven record of success. His previous corporate role was as CEO at the Christchurch Casino, a major corporation with over 500 employees.

Lyttelton has a background in accountancy and law, followed by senior management roles in a diverse range of industries including e-commerce, rural servicing, corporate investment, kiwifruit marketing and in life sciences/biotechnology, as a non-executive director of AgResearch for seven years.

Lyttelton has bachelor of commerce and law degrees from the University of Auckland and is a chartered accountant and solicitor. He has had extensive experience at Board level and with NZX listed companies.

Graeme Clegg, chairman of New Image says, "Stephen is joining New Image at an exciting phase in the development of the business. With Stephen's blend of skills and experience, particularly in the e-commerce area, he will make a strong contribution to the achievement of New Image's ambitious growth strategies with its MLM business into Asia and as well ensure the successful accelerated expansion of the Company's manufacturing and distribution business as foreshadowed in the colostrum shot announcement last week."
