Sky TV net profit up 17 pct

Sky Network Television reported a 16.7 percent rise in full year net profit to $120.1 million, while revenue lifted 7.4 percent to $796.9 million.

The total subscriber base rose by a net 27,024 subscribers in the year to June to 829,421, the company said today.

Average revenue per subscriber per month increased by 5.6 percent to $70.45.

A final dividend of 10.5c per share and a special dividend of 25c per share are to be paid.
