Helen Clark's former comms chief Munro joins Treasury

Mike Munro, communications chief for Helen Clarke during much of her tenure as prime minister, has been appointed to the Treasury.

Munro will begin as Treasury communications manager on May 11, the department said in a statement. He is currently a director of advisory firm Munro Church Communications.
