Another retail stock may soon be looking for investor's dollars.

Reuters has reported that homeware chain Briscoes is considering an IPO and a prospectus could be issued sometime next month.

The Briscoe Group includes the well-known chain of homeware stores as well as the New Zealand interest in Australian listed sporting goods retailer, Rebel Sports.

Earlier this week another long-established New Zealand retailer, Kirkcaldie & Stains, moved its listing to the main board.
