Radius Residential Care Limited (NZX: RAD ) (Radius Care) has entered into an agreement to acquire the business and assets of the Karori Village care home in Wellington for $13.6 million.
The agreement is conditional only on usual regulatory approvals. Karori Village is a 90-bed care home providing hospital and dementia level care. The transaction further expands Radius Care’s national footprint and supports the delivery of high-quality aged care services across New Zealand.
“The acquisition of Karori Village supports Radius Care’s focus on high quality, high acuity care across New Zealand. We’re proud to welcome the residents and staff of Karori Village into the Radius Care family,” said Brien Cree, Executive Chairman and Founder.
CEO Andrew Peskett noted “This acquisition represents Radius Care’s 25th care home and establishes our presence in one of Wellington’s most prestigious suburbs. It is a further step in Radius Care’s measured growth as a health services provider, reflecting a continued focus on acquiring large well located care homes.
Settlement is expected to take place in late May 2026 and the acquisition price will be funded through core debt facilities. The transaction will be immediately accretive to FY27 NPAT.
